Michael E. Thackston

Michael E. Thackston, CPA, MPA has been in public practice since 1981. He obtained his Bachelor's of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 1979, and later obtained his Master of Public Accountancy from Loyola College, Baltimore in 1981, and joined the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young, Baltimore.

Timonthy G. Thackston

Timothy G. Thackston, CPA has been in public practice since 2013.  He obtained his Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting from Towson University, 2014 and joined the regional accounting firm of Mister, Burton and French, LLC, Hunt Valley, MD before joining us.

Rosemarie H. Thackston

Rosemarie H. Thackston, CPA has been in public practice since 1980. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Towson State University, in 1980, and her Associates degree from Villa Julie College, Baltimore in 1978, and joined the regional accounting firm of McGrow Pridgeon, PA, Towson.

Michael E. Thackston, CPA, MPA  and Rosemarie H. Thackston, CPA commenced operations as Thackston & Associates in September 1986, Westminster, Maryland.

Over the years our firm has grown steadily, and now has five dedicated employees to service our clientele. Thackston & Associates has evolved into a full fledged accounting, tax, and consulting firm serving the Carroll, Frederick, and Howard Counties.
